Notes of freshly picked red plum, ripe cherry, and crushed herbs are just some of the vibrant aromatics in this Pinot Noir.

The bouquet of this remarkable wine captures the essence of nature with its enticing aromas of plum, cassis, tobacco, and earthy nuances. The rich scent is beautifully complemented by flavors of cranberry, cherry, sweet tobacco, and vanilla that dance on the palate. The wine's softness and brightness are balanced with an elegant character, culminating in a long and satisfying finish that lingers on the senses.

 Horseridge Vineyards lies just 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean on an east-facing slope facing the Mayacamas Mountains. The cool night breeze preserves the acidity in the grapes while the warm summer day allows the vines to produce just the perfect amount of sugar in each cluster. There is a huge element of wood at play here, but the fruit is sufficiently intense and the acid is quite noticeable. Apple, fig, blueberry, and tobacco are just a few of the savory notes found in this wine.

From the Balistreri Estate Vineyard, where our Winemaker's love affair with his craft began in his teenage years, comes this rich and complex Pinot Noir. There is depth and multiple layers in this wine where the more you drink this Pinot, the richer the flavors get. This is a top level single vineyard Pinot that bear’s our winemaker’s name and is an excellent example of his earth to glass light-touch winemaking process.
