A hugely aromatic wine with notes of blueberry, blackberry, and spice. A smooth but strong, prevalent texture with elegant balance. Appian Way vineyard sits in an ideal growing location, with well-drained goldridge soil allowing roots to flourish, producing remarkably consistent high quality fruit. Drink it now or in 5 to 7 years. This Pinot Noir will have you at first sip, with its rich, bright fruit.
From the Santa Rosa Plains neighborhood, a relatively warm region by Russian River Valley standards, comes this elegant and subtle Pinot Noir. The Bella Luna Vineyard is small (just one acre) and its vines are tightly spaced to encourage root propagation and generate rich, luscious fruit. The warmth induces earlier ripening, resulting in strong aromas of ripe, red fruit with a distinctive tartness. A slow-acting yeast is employed to extend fermentation and extract the essential characteristics of the grape. The outcome is a complex and layered wine with delicate flavors of chocolate and hints of spice that complement its bright acidity and well-rounded fruit.
A sumptuous combination of rich dark fruit aged in new oak barrels give this wine a unique quality. Complex aromas include apple, fig, blueberry, raspberry, rhubarb and cigar. Flavors of chocolate raspberry torte, tobacco are accompanied by savory notes to round it out. A successor to the multiple award-wining 2016 vintage, this is sure to be a must-have for Pinot Noir fans
The Bella Luna Vineyard is only 1 acre in size and was planted in 2000. In 2003, our first Pinot Noir from this vineyard won a gold medal in the San Francisco Wine Competition.
The Russian River Vineyards 2019 Petite Sirah Rosé from the Wedge Family Vineyard in the Fountaingrove AVA, is a stunning color: sunset pink with a touch of blue. With aromas of flowers, red grapefruit and tangelo, it yields pomegranate, apple, blood orange, and ruby red grapefruit on the palate, with plenty of depth, grip and good length.
The latest in a line of enormously popular, award-winning Chardonnay. Aged in stainless steel and a must-try for Chardonnay fans.
With the grapes picked at the peak of ripeness, this wine will greet you with exquisite tropical aromas on the nose and delightfully bright acidity on the palate, leading to a well-rounded finish. Enjoy on its own or pair with a spicy Asian-inspired dish.
From the Balistreri Estate Vineyard, where our Winemaker's love affair with his craft began in his teenage years, comes this rich & complex Pinot Noir. Presenting dark, ripe fruit on the nose with subtle herbal notes, your first sip of this wine will convey its complexity. An overtone of smokiness accompanies the strong dark cherry and blackberry flavors to coat your palate, followed by hints of tea and spice. The tannin structure and exquisite acid balance of this wine gives it fantastic aging potential, so enjoy it right away or age for up to 10 years.
Strongly aromatic and smoky characteristics from French & American Oak barrels. With strong tannins, this wine pairs wonderfully with hearty meat dishes like braised short ribs or filet mignon. Wedge vineyard sits in one of Sonoma’s newest viticultural regions that gets the optimal advantage of warm summer days & cool nights.
Tip: try it with chocolate truffles.
Bright red fruit aromatics with hints of raspberry and strawberry. Thick and rich on the palette, silky smooth in texture. Drink now or cellar for 5 to 7 years. A key feature of the Burke vineyard is careful stressing of the vines by spacing them tightly. The vines react by deepening their roots to increase access to nutrients, and the result is very concentrated, rich flavors and textures in the fruit.
