Double Gold Best of Class winner: North of the Gate Wine Competition
This wine really shows what our Certified Organic Estate Vineyard has to offer!
Being a dry-farmed vineyard, our Estate vines must dig deep for their water. In turn, our fruit is very rich and concentrated and makes for a wine full of depth and complexity. This Pinot has layer upon layer of fruit and hints of chocolate balanced by luscious tannins. Enjoy this beautifully rich and full-bodied Pinot now and pair with a hearty meal or age for another 7-10 years!
This beautiful wine is sourced directly from our Estate Vineyards, which is one of the coolest Merlot vineyards within the Russian River Valley, making it ideal for the style of Merlot we strive to make here at Russian River Vineyards.
The 2015 Burke Pinot Noir is a wine that you will not want to put down, with its beautiful nose and delicate yet full mouthfeel. The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Burke Family Vineyard, which is a very small vineyard (1.25 acres total) on the Southeastern edge of the Russian River Valley.
This Pinot Noir will have you at first sip, with its rich, bright fruit. Pair this voluptuous Pinot with pan-roasted rosemary chicken and a mushroom risotto.
This beautiful Syrah shows off aromas of sweet tobacco and forest berries, roasted figs on the palate with a toasted silky smooth finish.
Enjoy this beautifully rich and full-bodied Pinot now and pair with a hearty meal or age for another 7-10 years!
The vineyard is located in a particularly cool region, less than 20 miles from the coast. This cool climate, combined with the sun exposure provided by a Southern-facing hillside vineyard, makes for a low-yielding, slow ripening environment which is perfect for Pinot Noir. The balance of fruit and minerality show beautifully in this easy-drinking, crowd pleaser!
Sip after sip, explore the soft mouthfeel, layered by rich tannins imparted by the Cabernet, an earthy layer from the Merlot, spice and rich fruit from the Zinfandel and deep color and texture from the Petite Sirah. Enjoy now or age this extraordinary red blend for another 5-10 years.
Petite Sirah is known for being a bold and complex varietal with plenty of backbone. This wine fits the bill perfectly, with its lush tannins and deep, rich character. The tannins are prominent, yet soft and sensuous with layers of depth and a little vanilla and spice.
