Named after owner Judy James, this wine is the first of its vintage and comes from the same property as the Russian River Vineyards Stony Point Vineyards Pinot Noir.  This site was initially planted with vines in the late 1990s with six acres of clone 114 and clone 115, followed by two acres of clone 828.

This is the first time that winemaker Gio Balistreri has made a single vineyard wine of clone 828, yet this wine is anything but simple. Exquisite aromas of spicy red plum, ripe cherry, big barrel spice, and notes of pine forest flood the nose. Bold flavors of big cherries, curry, and all spice coat your tongue with a beautiful texture. Notes of pine resin and green peppercorns gives this wine a great complexity and balance. This wine is made for true Pinot Lovers and will age beautifully over the next 8-10 years.
