The 2020 Peterson Oaked Chardonnay resonates strong tropical aromas, which is very characteristic of the Petersen Vineyard and the very popular past stainless steel vintages.

The 2020 also offers slight hints of vanilla, lemon, and orange blossom, but also has pineapple, guava, and mango. It delivers a wonderful bright fruit forward nose. 

On the palette, this wine immediately reflects the classic characteristics of an oaked Chardonnay- Warm, toasty vanilla notes from the malolactic fermentation. This adds a velvety and creamy texture that is a joy to drink. This wine has a very soft, elegant, and lush mouthfeel. It finishes with a long, well-rounded sweetness, similar to that of candied or dried fruit.
