This is the first time that winemaker Gio Balistreri has made a single vineyard wine of clone 828, yet this wine is anything but simple. Exquisite aromas of spicy red plum, ripe cherry, big barrel spice, and notes of pine forest flood the nose. Bold flavors of big cherries, curry, and all spice coat your tongue with a beautiful texture.
This traditional rich Zinfandel hails from the same vineyard as the award-winning 2015 and 2016 Landy Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. On first impression, notes of warm, ripe, and dark fruit such as black cherry, fig, and plum hit the nose. The fruit aromas are contrasted by hints of leather, pepper, and tinges of tobacco. Similar to the aromatic notes, this Zinfandel offers seamlessly balanced flavors of rich, peppery, ripe dark fruit characteristics. Hints of herbaceousness and cloves are integrated with slightly jammy flavors, shaping this wine to pair divinely with a variety of barbecue foods. Conversely, this wine can also pair quite well with blackberry pie or cobbler.
A must-try for Pinot Lovers. Grown on the Austin Estate by RRV Winemaker Gio’s mentor, Anthony Austin. Exquisitely complex with rich lush flavor, this is easily one of RRV’s most elegant wines.
This wine is a part of our Library Collection of wines, which are a select group of our most age-worthy & rare wines. This is a very limited release, with only 60 cases produced and we want to make sure that our members are able to enjoy this phenomenal wine while it is still available! Emma’s Vineyard lies just 11 miles from the Pacific Ocean on a West-facing hillside. This makes for a beautifully elegant wine, with a bright acidity and rich fruit. It also possesses a delightful minerality, which balances out the acidity.
This Petite Sirah is sourced from the Wedge Family Vineyard, which consists of volcanic ash soils that add a minerality and unique depth to the wine. Petite Sirah is known for being a bold and complex varietal with plenty of backbone. This wine fits the bill perfectly, with its lush tannins and deep, rich character. There are smokey aromas from the American Oak barrels with hints of warm spices like clove and cinnamon. The palate has round and softer tannins with the acid of the Petite Sirah lingering.

Only 50 cases produced.
The Appian Way vineyard is small but is ideally located. A very limited production wine, the grapes are grown in sandy loam soils that enrich the roots of its vines. This is a hugely aromatic and fragrant Pinot Noir with big notes of lush chocolate and sophistication. The 2018 Appian Way is an elegant and sophisticated Pinot Noir with warm, rich, and lush notes on the palette. This wine is very drinkable now, but can age 7 to 10 years.
The Burke Family Vineyard sits in a valley floor vineyard nestled in the Sebastopol Hills Region of the Russian River Valley. With tightly spaced vines encouraging root propagation in sandy, loamy soil, this vineyard produces rich, dark fruit that results in bold, concentrated aromas of blackberry and black cherry with subtle hints of herb. On the palate, the strong fruit persists, along with a lush texture and a jammy, but not sweet, quality. The bold flavors and acid balance would make this a great pairing with pizza or other rich, fatty dishes.
This wine is a part of our Library Collection wines, which are a select group of our most age-worthy & rare wines. This Pinot Noir is from the second oldest remaining vintage produced from our Legacy Estate Pinot Noir Vineyard, which was planted in the late 90's, and inherited by us in 2008 and removed in 2017, so this wine among the last remaining vintages from this vineyard.
A fun, accessible Pinot Noir with strong notes of fruit & spice.
