2015 Pinot Noir | Estate Grown LIBRARY
Bearing the hallmark balance of former RRV Winemaker Anthony Austin's winemaking technique, this wine was produced with Anthony's characteristic balance of fruit, acid, and tannins. This all-important balance in structure allows the wine to age gracefully.
As the second oldest of the Pinot Noirs from the Legacy Estate Vineyard, this wine displays slightly stronger fruit characteristics than the 2014, and a bit more acidity. The 2015 vintage saw a crop that came in at a low volume but was generally of very high quality with intense, concentrated fruit flavors. Acids and tannins have softened, naturally, but the strong fruit flavors are still making their presence known. This wine opens up beautifully, revealing complex layers/aromas, so be sure to let it sit a while before drinking.
Released into the Library Collection in Spring 2021, this wine is entering the prime window to be enjoyed. Drink now or age for another 7-10 years!
